This workshop on Emotional Intelligence (EI) is designed specifically to enhance PSWs’ skills, improve the quality of care they provide, and cope well with complex feelings that are common to their role. The course will cover the essential components of EI, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and social skills, and will focus on practical strategies that PSWs can implement in their daily interactions with clients and colleagues. This course aims to empower personal support workers to leverage emotional intelligence in their roles, ultimately leading to more compassionate and effective care.
