Capacity Builders’ story starts in 2001 when our parent organization, the Ontario Community Support Association, was awarded a grant by the Ontario Trillium Foundation to launch a sustainable training and management support division.
Our goal then was the same as it is now: to foster collaboration, networking and learning to enhance the capacity of community-health organizations to deliver quality services.
Over the years, Capacity Builders' training portfolio has expanded tremendously. We have a roster of over 20 core trainers who deliver sessions in urban, rural and remote areas of the province. We have nearly 60 in-service workshops on a wide variety of topics, and our new e-learning programs allow us to meet the professional and organizational development needs of a much larger audience across Canada.
Our specialty is delivering practical training - providing information and teaching skills your staff can apply tomorrow. Our approach is to tailor training to organizational needs and offer accessible, flexible training options. We want to make sure that your training investment is maximized.
